Wow. I work my butt off from 6:30 until 3:30 or so, do an hour's worth of project (digging, ripping, building, stapling, etc) we eat supper, work until 7:30 or 8:00 get ready for tomorrow and flop down in front of the TV – exhausted.
That doesn't leave a lot of time for anything else.
We went into Windsor last night and picked up three quarters of a ton of tile. Our public space is about 20x24 if you include the utility room that will
house the in-floor heating support stuff.
While we were there we stopped into Freed's and bought a pair of dress shoes (Floorsheims I think – nice shoes!) and we also stopped at the Metal Supermarket – oh what a fun store!
We've contacted Geirhart about the concrete and he's booking a spot for us, but we need to co-ordinate with Ron so that we can pressurize our lines to make sure nothing bad happens to the Pex that we so excellently laid out! Once that's done it'll unleash a torrent of work – framing, wiring, plumbing, lighting, drywalling, taping, mudding, painting and thanks to a trip into Windsor – tiling. Whew.
The furnace (a Trane XV95) is a top of the line furnace to ensure our guests have a nice warm experience and our A/C (also a Trane - X15 I think) will be finished up either today or tomorrow. It's nice to know that we'll have a nice comfortable temperature in here for you when you come to visit regardless of what it's doing outside!
Hey, we met one of our only neighbors – Cathy - last night. She came over to say Hi. She's having her kitchen re-done, so were thinking about having her over for supper tonight- we're doing Fajitas! That should be fun.
I know with Sherry handling the cooking that dinner is Bound To Please!
