We've broken ground!
We had a backhoe in here for the better part of the afternoon and he dug a four foot deep moat around my house!
I have a moat!
Well… it's really a Trench – like in wars! I have a Trench around my house! Ha!
Well… it's really just a ditch. But it's a really cool ditch. And it doesn't go around my house – it just goes from the house to the Pole Barn out back.
It is a pretty cool ditch and it's MASSIVE for such a small pipe. But I guess it had to be deep.
In other news – Sherry and I are headed to Guelph tomorrow after work. We'll be staying with a couple of really nice people (and good friends from 400 years ago). Then we head to Ottawa to have supper with Michelle (or that was the plan – it sounds like that's off now – too bad). Then we're off to Montreal for the weekend to stay with the people that we helped get married in Jamaica. Ask me the story some time – it's fun to tell.
So, we won't be posting any updates after this one until next week (sorry!) but at least we'll have some cool vacation stories to write about – and I know they're Bound to Please
(editors note: I changed the 'mote' to 'moat' which is what I meant. Why did my spell checker fail me so badly!?)
