Whohooooo!
The concrete is almost set and we've started building wall segments!
The plan is to insert the 8' segements flush with the 6x6s that hold up the roof and then drywall the segments right across the 6x6s. Then we can do the interior walls, insulate, plumb, paint, tile and finish the space.
Dad will be dropping the Central Boiler plumbing stuff off tomorrow and he'll likely stay to work on the hot water in the house. It could take all day – I really hope that he comes alone since I have to work and so does Sherry. There'll be no one here to play host if someone else tags along.
Sherry had a fantastic first day at work (not like her other greenhouse job here!). She looked like a preppy in the outfit that they asked her to wear, but I thought she looked kinda cute dressed like that.
They had her do a personality test and she turned out to be The Scientist (which reads very much like a Green/Gold). I've started to rub off on her – she likes her workplace to function as if she's Green/Gold!
Wow.
It's going to be very difficult to blog now – there's a ton of work to do and very little time for anything else. You may have to wait for a bit to hear what's going on, but be assured that everything that we're doing we're doing so that you'll have a weekend here that is Bound to Please!
