We now have the World's Smallest Linen Closet.
Let me explain.
We love the old doors in this place (actually we love all of the details in this place. The nails are the old fashioned square ones, the baseboards are 8" tall, the wood is amazing and we just love our china cabinet built into the wall in the kitchen.
We're working really hard to maintain the original look of the house and we're actually going through a bunch of effort to restore some of the details back to what they would have been.
So, we're trying to keep the doors original. When we closed up one of
the bedrooms to make the front two rooms into The Southern Comfort Room we kept the door that we took out and put it where the SCR goes into the bathroom – but there was also a door from the hallway into the same bathroom.
Now, that'd make most of us a little nervous while we were doing our business so it needed to be closed in somehow. We could have just removed the door and closed in the doorway with drywall, but we decided to make a closet there instead.
Well – because of where the door had to go next to the shower there was very, very little room for the closet. So now we have a closet that's 8 inches deep. The world's smallest linen closet.
I can't wait to show you all the details that we've put into this place.
Oh – and the logo is now set. Here you go!
