Door Knobs

by Darren 19. June 2011 15:37

It turns out that I like door knobs.

Not just that they keep people from accidentally coming in while you're getting dressed, or that you can lock some of them to give you a little peace of mind that no one is touching your stuff.

It's just nice that the only details that I have left now are trim and knobs.

One of the final details to work out was putting door knobs on the doors upstairs so that people can leave their stuff (or get changed) without having to worry about other people accidentally disturbing them.

We have the trim cut and ready to install too. We're almost there.

And then we'll start renovating the second room.

*sigh*

In other news our tree lot is coming along really nicely. You can actually see the trees among the weeds now! They have leaves and look like more than just twigs stuck in the ground. We had ERCA come in and spray the weeds, but I think it was too windy – the guy said that it may not take – and it didn't.

The weeds are taller than most of the trees right now, but we'll get that all worked out. We do have a couple of decades to work with here.

With door knobs on all the doors we know that a night here is Bound to Please!
